
CAD Technician
Position Summary
We are seeking an CAD Technician to support forensic investigations of motor vehicle losses and related incidents. The CAD technician will assist with accident reconstruction activities in producing deliverables to our clients by processing investigation data and producing diagrams. The ideal candidate is dependable and detail-oriented with good time management skills.

Data Processing

Processing raw laser scan data collected by field investigators for diagramming, analytical and or demonstrative production. This duty involves registering point clouds to each other, cleaning extraneous data and refining point cloud data to best suit the needs of the specific operation.

Processing raw drone data collected by field investigators for diagraming, analytical and or demonstrative production. This duty involves project input setup, cleaning extraneous data and refining the image and/or point cloud data to best suit the needs of the specific operation.

Diagram Drafting

Generating diagrams, scene and vehicle diagrams that incorporate a wide array of image and analytical data and following styling guidelines.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

Required: Engineering related Associates degree or a closely related technical field; or equivalent technical/field experience.

Mathematical grasp and comfort with technical calculations.

Proficiency with Excel and technical writing tools (Word, PDF markup).

Experience with AutoCAD required.
